Let us fund this kickstarter game. It's a first person shooter that is set in the future. You have a single weapon that can change from a grenade launcher to a sniper, shotgun or an assault rifle at the press of a button. The game will be multiplayer with 3 teams playing in open world maps with a max capacity of 96 players. Dinosaurs will be roaming around the map and raptors will hunt and kill you, so don't think about camping in one place too long. "Great, where's the link to this Kickstarter?", you are all wondering. I made it up while sitting on the toilet. We all have ideas on how something should exist or it how could been better with a few changes. For example on something that should exist: cross platform play for the PS4 and Xbox. It's never going to happen but we can dream. The problem with most game Kickstarters is that it's all ideas and concepts from people with zero programming knowledge. Let's take the Kickstarter from this article for example http://games.on.net/2013/11/huntsmen-is-an-open-world-post-apocalyptic-fpsrpg-set-and-developed-in-australia/ .This Kickstarter is totally shit and people who actually put money towards it should feel bad. We have two idiots who have zero idea on what game engine they are going to use. The Kickstarter is a joke; with how much shit they state that they are going to put in their game, it would make Skyrim look primitive in comparison, if it wasn't the most unrealistic thing being pitched. Skyrim was developed by a team of 100 people that took 5 years to make. My problem is that people keep funding game Kickstarters which are nothing but ideas, no matter how absurd the ideas are. People keep throwing money in the drain for no other reason than hugs and kisses. Here's what people who are trying to get a game funded on Kickstarter should be doing: make a game. No, really. If I want someone to tell me what ideas they have for a game, I'll go watch Peter Molyneux talk for a hour. I want to see the actual game; I want footage of you playing your game on what is known as a test level. Is something wrong with it (models, sounds, textures, etc.)? Then start the Kickstarter saying you need some cash to hire people to fix up said assets, but not before.
